Electro Ceramic Laboratory (ECLAB) was established in 1973
by Prof. Jae-Dong Byun who is an expert in electro-ceramic materials.
Prof. Sahn Nahm took over the lab in 1996 and has led it until now.

Our group has been interested in a variety of electro-ceramics such as piezo-electrics and dielectrics, including bulks, thick/thin films and nanomaterials. We also focus on the novel design of piezoelectric and dielectric materials for the applications to actuators, energy harvesters, capacitors, memories, self-powered device and so on.

전자재료연구실(Electro Ceramic Laboratory: ECLAB)은 (故)변재동 교수님에 의해 1973년에 설립되었습니다.
1996년에 남산 교수님이 이어받아 현재까지 45년 이상 전자재료를 연구하고 있습니다.
특히, 압전체와 유전체 분야를 중심으로 벌크 세라믹스, 후막/박막, 나노구조체의 전 범위에 아우르는 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 다양한 압전/유전체의 설계 및 합성을 통해 엑츄에이터, 에너지 하베스터, 커패시터, 메모리, 자가구동 장치 등에 응용하고 있습니다.
